NEW CAMERA

February 17, 2009 @ 10:35 PM - Kyle Emery-Peck

So for the first time in my almost quarter century run in life I filed my taxes.  Not only did I file my taxes, I did it a timely manner.  I got a sweet return on ironic Friday the 13th, and have quickly spent a majority of my return on a camera.  For the time I’ve been shooting (7 years) I have primarily shot 35mm.  I’ve shot with 3 cameras, alongside with a few Lomos and and a Holga.  The main reason for getting this camera was to change up my shooting, and not break my back while riding with it in my backpack.  Also the pictures will be significantly sharper with 120 size film.  The camera is a few pounds lighter than lets say Jeff Allen’s Hasselblad Fisheye, and about the same weight as my Nikon n90s.  I’m pretty excited to see how the pictures turn out on my first roll.  I’ll post a couple up when I finish the roll.  Mamiya-C330
