The fourth edition of the Illegal Jam went down a few weeks ago in the 31Park, Leiria, Portugal.
The Jam went down as usual, with a chilling and good riding from the Portuguese and foreign riders (Spain, UK, Brasil). On Saturday night, after watching a video medley with all the 4 rounds of the Eastpak BMX Series 2008, the Eastpak BMX Series trophy’s were deliver to the national champs. After all the riding and trophy action, we left to the restaurant for the group dinner. After the dinner, we all get back to the 31Park, to watch the DVD of the Maiden Tour - 08, and for the always most wanted moment off the day, to watch the Strip Show, this year with two shows, for two lucky ones.
Sunday and final day, ended with all the riders voting for the three best riders of the jam. I think this is the best way to give the placing and the prizes at a Jam, put riders voting for riders. Daniel Serra was the most voted, so he got the 1th place , 2th and 3th, went for Rob Stacey (UK) and Perico (SP). And i’m gonna give a special reference to the little rider Afonso with only 5 years, the future is now!

Big Props for the duo behind Ilegal Jam: Nuno Milhinhos and Sandra Oliveira, they deserve, cause they do alot for the BMX in Portugal. The jam had the support of Ilegalbikeco and Mfobmx, Eastpak, Odyssey, Esterisco, Apametal, Lotek, Zásguru e Zona Radical. Thanks to them. And for the final THANKS TO ALL THE RIDERS THAT WHERE THERE! Without them there’s no jam.
