  • ETNIES 2X4 STOP

  • posted 10 months, 1 week ago

  • The post-Road Fools Etnies 2009 Tour commenced at its last stop yesterday, Van Homan’s 2x4 store in Pennsville, NJ. After a week of non-stop rain pummeling the entire East Coast, everyone in attendance was elated to see the sun and spend some time outdoors. In addition to a grind-box set-up that Etnies brought along for the tour, which was sessioned non-stop for three hours, Van went all out and rented one of those dunk tanks you would find at a carnival. Many attendees put in a dollar (in some cases many dollars) for the chance to win a video, hat, or t-shirt by sinking one of numerous people, including Tony Hamlin, Brian Kachinsky, Aaron Ross, Morgan Wade, Nathan Willams, Geoff Slattery, 2X4 rider Cody Jennings (who skipped changing into shorts and just went for it in his normal clothes), Van, or even some random girl. In actuality, they were all probably dunked more times by people pressing the target as a prank than actual balls hitting it. It was entertaining to say the least. Here are a couple of photos from the evening… -RD
