Day two was another rainy day here in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul), Minnesota. Everyone woke up in hopes of catching some dry weather so that we could check out a few street spots, only to be let down by Mother Nature once again. After trying to decide what to do with our day, we ended up making the 30 mile drive up to Showcase Skatepark for a session. A few new tricks were learned, clips were filmed, and after a few hours we found ourselves back in the van heading back to Minneapolis to meet up with photographer Ben Austin for some food. Afterwards, the weather had cooperated with us long enough to let us check out a few schools and spots. Here are a few photos from the day…
Random shot of the 10 foot mini and bowl corner at Showcase.
Corey Martinez with a Can Jam out of the smaller quarter.
Dakota Roche with a Vader Jam
Nathan Williams with a rail hop. That sign doesn’t say “No Bikes”.
There were a few other cameras out for this rail slide out of Nathan Williams. I decided to play around with longer exposures and this is what came from it.
Tomorrow we will be making out way up to Fargo, North Dakota for some riding and cabin time. The wi-fi will be minimal so expect the final days updates in a few days…
