  • NEW HELMETS FROM KING KONG

  • posted 1 year, 10 months ago
  • King Kong BMX is a German-based clothing and safety gear company formed by Marcin Stypulkowsky (formerly of Mutation and MPS). They sponsor a fairly large selection of rippers, including the UK’s Ben Hennon and Germany’s Markus Wilke. They’re also one of the few rider-owned BMX companies to jump into the helmet market. Now you might not think that helmets are the coolest thing in the world, but neither is being a vegetable. And it seems that with all of the wild riding going down lately, helmets are definitely going to become more prominent in everyday riding.

With that said, King Kong have introduced the Fit helmet. It features embossed detail strap fixing, a quick release strap and clear coat graphics. It’s also lightweight and comes available with two sizes of foam padding so you can customize the way the helmet fits. There’s also four colors to choose from, including gloss black, gloss white, matte brown and matte violet. And four sizes to choose from as well (Small: 53/54cm, Medium: 55/56cm, Large: 57/58cm, XLarge: 59/60cm).

King Kong helmets are available in the UK through Scoop Distribution. Beard not included.
