How are you?
My foot is mash potatoes due to an over rotated 360 but its all gravy baby since the weather in Austin isn’t all too great. Hopefully by the time the sun comes out my foot will evaporate the pain it is in.
What’s new in your life?

How weird is living in Seattle compared to Boston?
I love Boston, but the people and surroundings have forced me west. Seattle has got good tunes, spots, kooks, just a better atmosphere. I really can’t compare them, they are similar in the fact of being north… woodsy, hills and weird characters, but aside from that Seattle is rock n’ roll and Boston is sports orientated. I’ll take my rocks over jocks any day.
What are you and Jimmy doing with Metal this year?
We have started manufacturing, and working with the guys over at We The People.. Harry and Klaus. This will allow us to produce the product that all Metal Bikes fans out there can never get their hands on. We are also going to start a new Metal video this summer, which I’d personally like to spend a good solid 2 years filming for to make it a legit, entertaining film to watch. Spending 8 months on a team video is far too short and stressful.
Are you planning any trips anywhere?
I’m in Austin Texas at the moment with Stu Johnson and Eli Platt. Along staying with the Credence crew. Just came from Orlando. Planning on going to Southern Cali late this winter…
What’s the strangest situation you’ve been in lately?
Recently when I was in Boston for the holiday grog, myself, Jeff Allen and some ladies we know were driving to a party in a snow storm… when out of nowhere the car in front of us hauled the brakes, we slipped and started spinning, hit a guard rail then smashed into the car going backwards in front of us. A 40 year old black man with dread locks got out of his car with his pants around his ankles.. buttoning up his jeans whilst saying, “are you guys OK mon?” we said “yeah were OK brother” then he gets into his mangled car and drives off. There was a woman in the passenger seat with her head down. I’m pretty sure the dude was getting road head and hit the brakes on the impact of his orgasmic eruption. A cop came to investigate the scene. I told him exactly what I saw and he looked at me like I was a freak. A lying freak. At that point we had forgotten there was a girl in our trunk the entire time. I then later had to spend the night at one of the girl’s houses who was 19 and hid in her closet so her parentals couldn’t find me. Hiding in a 19 year old girl’s parent’s closet is a strange situation for a 25 year old man.
How is the filming for Anthem 2 going?
Its been a blast. I rarely get to travel to new cities, the past years all I’ve done is gone back and forth from Seattle to Boston, Boston to Philly, Boston to LA. Filming with Stu I’ve gotten to see cities I didn’t even know existed that are completely STACKED with set ups and spots that I like, which is rare. I’m really picky when it comes to filming, quality over quantity ya know? So yeah its good. I get hurt on almost every filming trip but hell its worth it.
What’s up with the Estonian rider Metal have just picked up?
Kert Petersel. He’s a wildman. Very talented wildman… and I hate to see under-rated riders getting no love. I want to do my best this year to help him out.
If you sold your soul how much would it be worth?
In 9th grade i traded my soul to Wayne Erickson for a pack of sour patch kids, then Wayne Erickson lost my soul to Ferbert in a game of Go Fish. I think Ferbert has it somewhere in some old boxes in his grandmothers attic.
