How are you?
Im doing great, kicking lots of ass lately.
What’s new in your life?
My elbow bends, I can ride bikes all day long again and I got my own crib down in San Diego. BOOM!!!
Where are you right now since you are always traveling?
Im in San Diego, chilling on the nomad life for a while and I figured S.D. would be a great spot to kick it for a bit. But I am going to Japan in a month.
You have been back to riding for a while now. How is your elbow feeling and everything?
Elbow is doing pretty good, kinda sucks for a few things but on the dialed scale, its probably at an 89%. Stoked I can shred again!
What’s your plan for the summer? Are you doing the Woodward councilor deal again this year?
Nope, I am not doing the Woodward thing anymore, I figured I’d save all the Woodward skags for some other dudes, HAHAHA! But this summer I’ll be traveling the world with all the kick ass Subrosa hommies, stoked on that!
It sounds like you got a few trips planned then. When are you going to Japan?
Im going to Japan in July. I was sposed to be there right now but there was some wild outbreak of “the pig sickness” aka Swine Flu so we pushed the dates to July.
Have you been filming for anything these days?
Kyle Hart and I are filming a web vid for Mr. Ryan Sher. I just came up on a Panasonic DVX100B so I’ll be filming for the Lotek, Goods video and prob some other kick ass shit. OH! and of course the Subrosa World Tour video, BOOM!
How are things with the sponsors going? Any big news you can tell us about?
Everything with my sponsors is going great, just trying to get back into the swing of things since I was hurt for a bit. Pro skater Adrian Lopez is starting up a new gig and its going to have a BMX team, Me and Jon Peacy are the first dudes on it. I’d tell more but I dont know to much and it might be DL.
What does your average daily routine consist of these days?
Wake up around 8:30, drink some tea, take my dog to the dog park, meet up with some homies and ride bikes and then probably party or something. Probably the average for most BMX dudes, right?
Tell us something people might not know about you.
Im really into mixed martial arts. There is this gym down the steet from my house call “Und1sputed” and it’s based mainly around cage fighting and shit. It sounds really “BRO” but it’s good for my body and I like it, so whateves!
What else does 2009 have in store for you?
Traveling the world, shred BMX(of course), no broken elbows, get loose with Kyle Hart every night instead of just a few times a week, and train hard enough so I can step in the cage with someone!
Any plans for tonight?
Watch the Playoffs because basketball kicks ass, maybe some Law and Order after that, whip nades and get some rest so Matt Colsich can come swoop my ass in the morning and the shred! WHAMMY!!!
