Grips on the bends. Everything tight. I hate when my bike makes noises.

No tool bag. In my car trunk I have tubes, a pump and an Animal Katoolack.
What’s the deal with your new frame?
It’s awesome. I got a sample and it was perfect, so I got my first production run and have had it for a couple of months. It’s doing great. It’s showing up at shops now. The distro has it, so order one up.
What part do you wear through the quickest?
Probably pedals.
What part do you break most often?
Nothing really.
Do you patch flat tires or get new tubes?
Tubes right now.
Which parts are you paranoid about breaking?
I try not to think about stuff breaking.
Who builds your wheels?
Me.
Anything special about them?
Lace ‘em up and try and keep ‘em straight.
What kind of prototype parts are you running these days?
Back hub, bars, Butcher peg.
Cassette or freecoaster?
Cassette. I could mess around with a coaster; I could never ride it full time though. I like to pedal backwards.
Left side drive or right side drive?
Right side drive.
Kevlar bead or regular bead?
Kevlar. Your bike feels so much better.
Plastic pedals or metal?
Plastic; light, grippy and it hurts less on shinners.
