Describe your personal bike setup. 4 pegs, no brakes. I don’t slam my seat, I don’t have 42.0 inch wide bars, and I don’t worry about the weight.
What part do you wear through the quickest? I don’t really wear through any parts. The only time I ever get new parts is when they break so bad I can no longer use them. Breakin’ ‘em off real bad.
Which parts are you paranoid about breaking? My chain. There’s nothing worse than pedaling full speed at something and your chain breaks.
Where do your parts go when you’re done with them? As I said the only time I’m ever done with any parts is if they’re completely broken. They usually sit in my basement.
You have been on Sunday’s Flow team for a little while now, how are things going with that?
It’s going pretty well. Jim is a really cool guy and so far I haven’t had to do anything for Sunday. I’m sure in the future I’ll film some stuff for Sunday!
Now that summer is here and you are out of school, do you have any trips or big things planned for the summer?
Yeah I’m pretty sure that part of Team Dilly is taking a trip to the east coast to visit the FU CRU and Bink when he lives in NYC. Also I might be taking a trip with my friend BJ Tomczik and the Underline team to Winnepeg, Canada.
Have you started filming for the next Team Dilly video yet? Are you working on any other video parts for web or DVD?
Kyle and I have been filming a bunch for the next Dilly video titled BOOM! So far I have a bunch of stuff filmed and we still have the whole summer to get stuff done. This summer should be a good one. I have a lot of stuff called out haha.
I heard you got hurt recently doing something pretty crazy. Can you tell us about that? How long are you off the bike for?
Yeah last saturday Kyle, Cody Smiggles, Justin Dewitt and I drove up to St. Cloud, Minnesota. We showed up to this bank spot and I saw this rail setup. You have to hop on a ledge, hop onto a left side flat rail with a 15 foot drop on the other side, then drop down into a 14 stair right side rail. I really didn’t think I was going to try it but of course Kyle was like Fuck it, just go for it. After a few attempts and tumbles down the stair set I tried to lean left and go for it. Leaned to far over and jumped too high up to flat. Both bottoms of my feet are completely yellow and bruised and theres a chance my right foot is broken. After a few days of relaxing I can finally walk again. I doubt my foot is broken but I might go get X-rays soon just to make sure. I’ll go back this summer and get the clip once I feel better.
