In February of last year, Toby Forte sustained a head injury as a result of riding. According to Toby, “I spent weeks in hospital as a result of the injury, including days spent in a coma in intensive care, and it has taken me over a year to fully recover from the accident.”
During Toby’s tenure in the hospital, he was offered support from a charity known as Headway. Each year, over one million people are admitted to the hospital with a brain injury, and Headway helps these people and their families to deal with the difficulties of this complex injury. And now Toby’s looking to give back.
He’s taking part in a sponsored cycle rider through Northern Vietnam. The venture will involve riding approximately 80-100 km a day through the mountainous region of Northern Vietnam, and by taking part on the trip, Toby hopes to raise £3000, or more, for Headway.
He’s also made donating simple. But the deadline is approaching extremely fast, and he’s still a long way off of from his target amount. So please, please, please contribute to this worthy charity by sponsoring Toby’s venture. All you need to do is proceed to the following link and donate. It’s quick, easy, secure and going to a worthwhile cause: http://justgiving.com/tobyforte
