What are your trails called?
Arcadia
How long have they been around for?
We started them right after the big thaw and have been chugging along steadily.
Where are they?
Kalamazoo, MI
Who are the main crew/locals?
Doyle Savola, Sean Newton, Chris Noble, Mikey Seals, Kevin R, and of course us as well.
What’s your policy on visitors?
C: Get in touch with us before showing up and I’m sure there will be no problem with getting to ride.
T: Throwing some dirt never hurts either…
Any good stories to tell from your spot?
C: The main line has a step down on the side of a hill that leads into a berm at the bottom. When you hit it at speed it feels like a roller coaster. Needless to say it takes a little getting used to and brakes are recommended. Our friend Kevin didn’t think that he needed brakes his first time through. He ended up blowing off the berm and launched like 25 feet into the woods. He landed and rolled away without a scratch. It was the funniest thing that ever happened down there.
T: There is a mountain bike trail that runs right along our main line that very attractive college girls occasionally jog on. Ballard had to urinate and picked a spot that faced the trail when and unsuspecting, quite attractive, college girl appeared on an afternoon jog. She giggled as she passed and his libido was damaged for a short while.
What are your building plans for the new season?
C: Finish the main line and start the big downhill line.
T: Finish the hut and grill and start cold lampin.
