”Here is a little short we put together as a sort of commercial / motion graphics test featuring some footage of Nathan Williams and his signature Mothership frame.
”The Madera team, Tom Villarreal and Dave McDermott, visited Las Vegas to ride some pools. That did happen, but way more ditches were ridden in the short 3 days in town. Thanks to Juaquin and the locals for showing us around to get our shred on. Tom killed most everything he did and Dave did some more tech moves that you might have to watch more than twice. WARRINGTON SESSION

”a short edit of nailz droppin some sick stunts, a clip from dan roper and bengo with some insane front wheel bangers.”
Name: Tom Davis
Sponsors:Season Bikes Your height? Just under 6 ft now I reckon
Frame: Sunday 2nd Wave 21”
Fork: Sunday Morning 2.1
Bars: Season Bikes Big Berg
Grips: Season samples
Bar ends: just plastic ones
Stem: Animal Jumpoff
Brake Lever: Not
Brake: Not
Seat: Season fat embossed
Seat Post: Season
Clamp: Federal Slim
Cranks: Season Lunar sample with an Eclat BB
Sprocket: Season Solstice 25t
Pedals: Animal Hamilton’s
Chain: Illegal half link
Rear Wheel: Proper female hub with Proper spokes on a Season Eclipse rim w/ Season Solar Hubguard
Front Wheel: Odyssey Vandero2 with Proper spokes on a Season Eclipse rim
Pegs: 4 Odyssey Jpeg Lighters
Rear Tyre: Odyssey Path 2.1
Front Tyre: Odyssey Aitken 2.25
Weight of bike: Not sure 25ish I think, maybe a little less
Modifications: Cut steerer a little bit, always cut the flanges off my grips as well. I don’t change much really.
Describe your personal bike setup: I always try and have it running nice, no loose stuff or anything.
Describe the contents of your personal bike tool bag: Everything I need to take my bike apart and build it back up again, so I can fix it in most circumstances.
What part do you wear through the quickest? It used to be grips but these Season ones have lasted really well, so I don’t know, Tyres maybe?
What part do you break most often? I don’t know really as it varies, except I have bent the axles on 2 different sets of pedals this week, so probably them at the moment.
Do you patch flat tyres or get new tubes? I usually get a new tube if I’m in a rush, and patch the old one at home so I have a spare for next time
Which parts are you paranoid about breaking? I’d say forks or bars, as the consequences of failure could be unpleasant.
Where do your parts go when you’re done with them? Keep them as spares, give them back or give to a friend.
Who builds your wheels? anything special about them? Usually Jake or Neil at George Halls Bikeshop, except Ben from IMG sometimes does too, they are just normal wheels really but they both do a better job than i ever could!
Cassette or freecoaster? Cassette, I ran a freecoaster for a while last summer and it was fun, but i couldn’t handle it on faster rollbacks so I switched back again.
Kevlar bead or regular bead (tires, and why)? Just regular is fine for me.
Plastic pedals or metal? I prefer plastics, even though they still cut my shins it feels like they won’t be as sharp or do as much damage as metal, they slide better too as well as being cheaper.
”Canada’s Lee Dennis is one of the toughest and nicest guys in BMX. He posses amazing bike control and does it all with an effortless and casual approach. Having a relaxed style is a great attribute. This video is of his trip down to Austin in January. He ended up taking a very tough crash which he wanted in the video. He’s doing really well and should be back tearing it up really soon. Filmed and edited by Tom Arkus.”

”This year is the 12th Annual Bike It here in Ashland Oregon, August 14th.
This event is especially exciting for me because I have invited the Haro Team that I toured with to perform a 25th anniversary Haro Show. I would like to invite you all to attend this significant event. This is a dream come true for me, a way to show my appreciation to the people that have made such an impact on my life. I am really looking forward to bringing a bite of my history, the sports history and some of my most influential people in my life to Ashland for a great time.

What’s new with Mutiny these days? Anything going on that you are really excited about like trips, filming, or anything like that?
We got plans for some little trips through out the year. We haven’t picked out any places yet, really.
How about Eclat, Etnies and V-Club? Anything coming up with them you can talk about?
V-Club “For the Sake of the Video!”
How are you?
Just good for now. I don’t sleep enough.
What’s new in your life?
My friend’s got a backyard ramp now, its sick to ride. Sewing, playing guitars, hunted Quail… Yep.
Photo: Travis Kincaid
Have you been doing much traveling over the winter, or just sticking to Texas?
Been home a lot. It snowed a lot this year. Weird shit.
Anywhere you would like to make it to here in the near future?
Germany, California, Hell.
I feel like it has been a little while since I’ve seen any clips from you. Have you been working on a new edit or anything like that?
Finishing up my V-Club part. Hoping to keep it from coming out incomplete. I want to make some web shit even though I hate it hahaha. We will have some fun/cool things coming out over the web.
Where are you right now?
Home. Fort Worth. Texas.
Where are you off to next?
Beer Store.
What does your average daily routine consist of these days?
On days off I can sleep forever. I’ll usually be riding, helping family, doodling, drinking coffee or skating in my free time. Work days I skate to the shop by 8:30am. I cut different material for tents and awnings there until 5 then I’ll either go see my mom for some dinner or go grab some beers to chill with people at my house till we go out or whatever. Usually end up at home with people having fun too loud for the neighbors. Cleaning up is a shitty part of any day. You all know.
What’s the weirdest thing that has happened to you lately?
Went camping half a night… got home with half the things I took...bummed. Oh yeah, one thing was my phone. Fun.
Tell us something people might not know about you.
One time I won a yoyo comp when I was like 11 or something. I haven’t had one since that time.
What does 2010 have in store for you?
Better be lots of green… and cash money.
Any plans for tonight?
I think it’s a slumber party…
”To go along with the photos we posted yesterday, here’s a little video that Tom Perry whipped up. Remember, these white tires aren’t scheduled to be available until late May.“

KACHINSKY AND MORROW ON ARNETTE
posted 6 days, 12 hours ago
”FOOTHILL RANCH, CA – March 3, 2010 – Arnette is pleased to announce that Brian Kachinsky and Ty Morrow are the newest additions to its tight-knit BMX squad.
Born and raised in Wisconsin and now living in Chicago, IL, twenty-eight year old Brian Kachinsky is widely recognized as one of the friendliest, most down-to-earth riders on the pro BMX scene. But don’t let his mellow demeanor fool you, because once he gets on his bike he is a total animal; devouring parks and street spots with his deep bag of tricks. Inspired by family and friends, BK’s other sponsors include DK Bicycles, Etnies, Action Village, 661, CTi, go211 and System Cycle.
“In addition to now working with a brand that’s dedicated to action sports, I’m honored to be amongst what is an already awesome team,” says BK. “Corey, Rob and Ty are all riders I look up to, and now when I look at them I won’t have to worry about the sun being in my eyes. I’m looking forward to a fun-filled year!”
Representing Greenville, NC, by way of Florida, Ty Morrow is a big dude with massive hops who absolutely destroys street spots with his versatile, balls-to-the-wall riding. Over the past few years, the nineteen year-old has quickly made a name for himself in the BMX world and beyond. In his X Games debut last summer, Ty’s smooth flow, inventive lines and uncanny ability to effortlessly link tricks earned him Silver in BMX Street. Always down for good times, night sessions and exploring new spots, Ty also rides for Federal Bikes, Vans, Deadline and Staff BMX.
A man who lets his riding do the talking, Ty says, “I’m stoked to be a part of Arnette. The team is dope.”
In addition to BK and Ty, Arnette’s BMX team includes Rob Darden and Corey Martinez.” - Arnette

“We now offer our Clone Cassette hubs in a female bolt style version. Our design is a little different than some others out there. They feature a 3mm section of the 14mm axle that protrudes into the drop outs. This creates a much cleaner & stronger design we feel. If you run pegs you just use 10mm versions on the rear to suit the 10mm hardened CrMo bolts supplied.
You can also get these female hubs laced up in our complete Clone wheels sets as well. These are available in Australia now & worldwide very soon.” -Colony
