  • WORLDS - DAY TWO

  • posted 8 months, 1 week ago

  • 40 something. Gearing or age?

Day two of the BMX Worlds in Cologne, Germany started with rain again. Throughout today there were showers with most events being disrupted in some way. The highlight was the classic 80’s Haro show, featuring freestyle legends, Ron Wilkerson, Brian Blyther, Mike Dominguez and Dave Nourie. Craig Campbell even made a quick appearance and the father of freestyle, Bob Haro, watched over his flock of former freestyle fledglings as they fired out all the classic moves, including a few Miami flopper drop in attempts by Captain Wilko. Audio aficionado, Kevin Martin’s announcing was a welcome break for tired ears from the night before. Hopefully tomorrow will bring some better weather for the street finals.
