Niki Croft made it up from Hastings and everyone was real happy to see him in fine fettle.
The 20Twenty DVD was due to be premiered on the 4th of December in Aberdeen, UK, but with the crazy snow that had hit the UK the week before, things weren’t looking great. Remarkably, most people managed to get through the snow one way or another and made it up to the ‘true north’ for the original date. Things kicked off at 6pm at TX Skatepark with a BMX session for a couple of hours. Then it was on to Cineworld for the premiere. I don’t know about anyone else, but i’ve never been to a BMX premiere in a cinema. The staff didn’t know what to think when 250 ratty BMXers showed up…
The DVD went off and everyone seemed real psyched on the end result. As always, you’ll have to see it for yourself but I have to say well done Mingo and the 20Twenty team for a real good video and sweet night! -FM
