I don’t think Manhattan has ever had a BMX-specific bike shop before this year, but Animal’s Tyrone Williams, along with his partner Qian Who, changed all that just last month when they opened Dah Shop. Located at 134 Division St., just ten blocks from the Brooklyn Banks, Dah Shop specializes in BMX, but they also stock road bikes, skateboards, apparel and shoes. And in case you’re thinking that bike shops overcharge, think again. Dah Shop does their very best to keep prices affordable, and since they’re location is proximate to a few infamous riding spots, Dah Shop is on hand to fix flats, broken chains and anything else you might run into on the streets. Larry Rhodes of Vimby made this short bio on Dah Shop last month. Check it out, and don’t forget to stop by if you’re in the area.
