1. Inspirations?Anyone I’ve ever ridden with, or shared a laugh with.

2. BMX? Yes please.

3. Street / Ramps?
Mostly indoor ramps, due to our beautiful Scottish climate, but a little bit of street or dirt when the weather is nice.

4. Bike riding Heroes?
Mat Hoffman, Chris Moeller, Eddie Roman, Dave Voelker, Gerry Galley, Vic Murphy, Andy Burke, David Frame, Noel Cowan, Keith Duly

5. Today’s Lunch?
Chicken rice soup

6. Who are the people you ride with?
Grant Smith, Lewis Jennings, Parky, Scott Timmins, Wingnut, Chaz+Connor Mailey, Big Hazza and my son Innes.

7. Favorite spot to ride?
Unit 23 skatepark in Dumbarton, it really is the worlds best park hands down. Fancy a beer? Cool. Wanna ride after hours? No problem. Can I organise a jam to raise money for a friend in need? Of course. Best owners, best park, best locals, thanks Chic!

8. What do you love most about your hometown?
It has an indoor and outdoor park, one of which I can see from my window.

9. Barspins? Flips? Grinds? Whips? Flow? Cruising around?
In that order? Yes, no, pegless ones, not yet, depends who you ask, 100%me.

10. What’s been your most memorable BMX experience?
Being at the Hoffman contest where Mat unveiled the giant quarter and done 21ft airs, staying at the P.O.W. house and hanging out at S+M for the summer when I was 19, riding POSH trails in ’98, Grant’s BMX stag week in Marseille riding Peynier, all the Backyard events, travelling all over the world riding tons of cool spots with my friends-always laughing!

11. Favorite trick of all time is… Tabletop.

12. Favorite video part?
Any one that contains an Aggroman suit. Both Ruben’s Etnies sections, Foster in FitLife.

13. What’s the best thing about BMX?
Hanging out with my friends, laughing. if I’m not laughing- it’s not fun.

14. What’s the worst thing about BMX?
Whitewall tyres, people with two different coloured rims, plastic pedals, half link chains, getting hurt.

15. Your biggest fear is: Going blind.

16. The best advice you’ve ever received was?
“Put your foot down.”

17. Must have gadgets…
I’m not really gadgety? Usual ipod, computer, car etc.

18. What do you want out of BMX?
To remember the good times, and to be remembered for the good times.

19. The last book you read was?
‘The White Lioness’ by Henning Mankell.

20. I’d like to know more about… next week’s winning lottery numbers.

21. What would you like to achieve this year?
Build my dream garage at home.

22. What country would you most like to visit?
Always fancied going to Japan.

23. Before this, I was… cleaning my kitchen.

24. Last words… Thanks to anyone that’s ever shared a drink or a laugh or a platform with me, given me anything free or cheap, given me somewhere to sleep, called an ambulance for me, let me ride their trails or ramp, given me a lift to the skatepark, and Santa Claus for bringing me my first bmx for Xmas 1982!
