How are you?
Pretty well acually, thanks for asking. Been waking up real early and getting shit done son.

How are things going with Deco? I feel like it’s been a little bit since I’ve caught any news from you guys?
Deco. has been laying low cause I don’t want to make any promises or false actions before we even get product. I really want to be able to back my actions up with products, and now we have stuff, so game on world. Holla at www.decobmx.com for ordering, shopping, or just a good laugh.
It’s pretty crazy working on ideas and direction for over 18 months and now reality is setting in. Pretty sure it was the most stressfull day getting in all the products and opening them to see if they really were what I wanted them to be from across the world.
I’d imagine you have been pretty deep in getting Mr. Bikes N Boards off and running. How has the shop been doing?
Amazing and really fun as well. It runs itself. Some guy named James hangs out there all day running things. There really isn’t the quantity of customers as with the skatepark, but those that do come by really want to see us survive and support the hell out of us. We have a one armed a/c guy with cancer. We dedicated one of the Deco t-shirts to him, see if you can guess which one. 1st person to guess and email me gets a free shirt. Thanks everyone for support.
Has closing Mesh hurt the scene much or is everyone still keeping on?
It has made it more difficult to get everyone together and keep everyone motivated. I hear people still ride there. Ridaz…
What’s the story behind Powerbar? That’s a new one for you, right?
Brian Tunney gave me an online application type thing a long time ago, I actually forgot about it. Then one day an email comes in saying I am on this PowerBar Elite team for 2 years. It’s pretty sweet. They have all the info and what I need to do online. Orders are online. Everything. I haven’t even talked to anyone yet. Not sure if I will. They really have their program set up amazingly and some real sweet perks if you put some time in and represent them. They don’t ask a lot and pretty much let you do your thing but want us all to keep up with things on the main site and be happy with the product.

Any other sponsor news?
Guess on a serious note Profile is doing my own color for parts. Not sure if it’s a secret. BMX companies love secrets, so I guess I am making one right now. Go211.com has been doing some cool stuff with me. They sent me a Flip cam to shoot some content on their site and the editor is pretty good. So I am going to keep them stocked with footage as I get it. Lastly, this isn’t a sponsor thing, but Baco 11 is happening and Freimuth and me are pretty pumped about this. We actually have more than half of it done already. So watch out, coming this year if everything goes right and we stop having kids. Also a big thanks to Povah for some shoes, they are making my feet happy.
What else is new in your life?
My baby girl is walking, it’s an amazing sight to be there and see how excited she is. Also, my wife is hot again. Making babies doesn’t slow her down. We bang all the time. Shit is sweet. Sigity.
Where are you right now?
In Florida about to finish this up and go swimming and work on my butterfly.
Where are you off to next?
North Carolina is calling, Vegas has been asking for a return, and Wisconsin is hard to pass up in the summer.

What are your plans for the summer looking like? I’d imagine you will be judging a few contests, right?
I don’t have any judging dates locked in as of yet, but I am free for most of the stops, so it’s all up to DMC. Everyone knows that I make winners win. Those gigs are pretty sweet. Brumlow got me doing the ASA triple jumps as well, but they keep changing dates. Those are amazing and fun. But most of all I want to attend Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, never have been to one. Then there is Woodward and Lake Owen, try like hell to get there. Lastly, keep doing the front wheel boogie.
What does your average daily routine consist of these days?
Up around 7am to my son playing the harmonica and saying da da. Cartoon time with the kids while we wrestle and throw food at each other. Drop Cooper at school by 8. Try and take care of the house and yard. Kiss the wife uncontrollably. Ride my road bike to Mr. B’s before noon to ship and accept UPS and get some emails and ordering done. Eat cubans with tons of Texas Pete sass. Ride my bike back home from the shop. Eat some amazing dinner the wife makes. Go swimming with the kids. More cartoons and running around the house chasing the kids. Tuck the kids into bed. Go sesh Vans or Orlando skatepark or Daytona. Come home crack a few brews or sip on some brown juice and twitter/myspace/facebook crazy shit while watching the Magic win again. Then off to dream land where I fight meth heads and eat snowballs. Livin the life RIDAZ!
Tell us something people might not know about you.
I hate to wait in lines. Hate spys. I have a boy and a girl and have been married for 4 years. I have never been pulled over in my van, cause it’s a mini van. I secretly still ride for Standard. My phone needs to be charged 4 or 5 times a day cause I use it to much. I eat so much protein my poop has muscles.
What does the rest of 2010 have in store for you?
Get Deco on the map. Take a sweet vacation with the family. Few road trips with Profile. Stop drinking vodka. Start doing more wheelies. Work with two cities nearby to get public skateparks going.
Any plans for tonight?
Probably just giv’r
