I’m gonna go out on a limb here and guess that maybe not every last one of us is riding big bars circa the end of December, 2008. I’m also gonna go out on a limb and guess that not everyone cares about having bars with as much butted tubing as possible in them. Finally, I’m gonna guess that some of us might appreciate components that have become classic but still do the job pretty good…
Such is the case with T-1’s classic Small and Medium bars. Around the turn of the century, everyone and their mother rode these bars. Through the years, the trends have turned towards bigger bars, but you can still get your hands on these classic US-made bars from T-1 for an affordable price. There’s two types to choose from. Small (1 lb. 15.5 oz.) features a 7.375” rise, 3 degrees of upsweep and 12 degrees of backsweep. They’re 24.5” wide with .065” tubing, available in black and navy. Medium (2 lb. 0.125 oz.) bars are 7.75” high, with 3 degrees of upsweep, 12 degrees of backsweep and a 24.5” width. Again, made out of good ole .065 wall tubing with no butts about them. Available in black and brown. And hey, if it works for Joe Rich, it’ll probably work for anyone…
