The second Short Stories is directed by Matty Lambert and explores the intriguing world of Relentless BMX Rider Mark Webb and his character beyond the contest bravado. This is Webb's inspiring story to achieve global success in the face of adversity, thanks to his focused, determined, driven and passionate approach and a life dedicated to his bike and wanting to be remembered long after his time. Lambert explains, "Working with Webbie was different for sure. Portsmouth life couldn't be further away from life on the U.S contest circuit, over the time spent following Mark on both trips I've definitely had an insight into the real Mark Webb, and this man and story is truly inspiring." Team USA claims 3rd place. This was the first video dropped at the premiere and the only reason those few in the audience weren't screaming was because they were sitting slacked jawed or were the other directors who had their heads in their hands.

With an all star line up on both sides of the camera the US crew hit banger after banger and produced an edit that you'll need to watch a bunch of times just to take it all in. This section is a total onslaught on Barcelona architecture with no regard for new or hallowed turf — it was all there for the taking.

I shot these few clips a long, long time ago and I totally agree that the filming is appalling. So I tagged along with Andy Hall and some others to go ride a small tight mini ramp in a barn located somewhere in Newbury, UK. Whilst we where there I filmed Andy riding and I got these clips. Andy had just been put on Sputnic through Zeal and was stoked to have a bike hooked up through them, but a short while later he snapped his acl and has spent more than enough time in recovery. I figured these weren't exactly the most ground breaking clips anyones seen, but at least it shows Andy doing one of the things he loves whilst he is in the last few steps to being 100%. I hope to see him riding again this summer and then i'll show you how good Andy Hall really is. -Sam Barrow

Erik Elstran or Airik or whatever it is he is going by these days showed up at the 3rd Lair contest a little late on Sunday. I can't imagine the things he would have done in his run if he had made it in time. After the contest was over, I figured I had my camera and we might as well film a few clips for the internet. Originally the plan was the usual one to three clips like the other Timecode's, but for some reason accidents turned into good enough clips, and more ideas popped up. This is what came from it. I'm still not quite sure how the last clip even works... If you don't know or remember who Erik is, you need to give a quick google search to catch up... -Kurt

Timecode number 7 features Tadley, UK resident Luke Towey. Luke had spotted this rail whilst driving through Oxford for work purposes. We drove back there to check it out as Luke had never done a rail through a tight gap and seemed pretty keen to give it a go. Upon arriving at the rail we had noticed that the run up was kinda off and the assistant of a nearby crate was needed to help maintain enough speed. This was not the only problem we encountered. The rail itself was super sticky and was grinding really poorly. With no wax or any shops open to purchase such product, we resorted to using mcdonalds cups. The waxy, waterproof layer made a great substitute and gave the rail all it needed to help Luke get to the end. Enjoy" - Sam

This is a DC Shoes ad shot during one summer day with Mihail Rostomyan on Moscow trails in Serebryaniy Bor. For me Misha is a great example of a real athlete in bmx. I don't know anyone who has more dedication and passion for riding. This guy is always out there riding, no matter which day it is and how mad the yesterday party was. When everyone are just starting to try to get up from the bed, Misha is most probably practicing some new trick, he had seen while sleeping.
